On October 6, 2021, Northern Health will have their Drive Thru Vaccine Clinic set up in the Telkwa Community Hall parking lot. The clinic will be open from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m., offering first and second doses. Registration is not required although it is recommended. Visit www.getvaccinated.gov.bc.ca for more information.
The Water Quality Advisory issued for the Telkwa Community Water System on September 28th has now been rescinded. Upgrades to the Water Treatment Plant’s ultraviolet disinfection system have been successfully completed. Bacteriological testing confirms that the new ultraviolet disinfection system is operating properly. We greatly appreciate the patience of our residents while we completed this much needed upgrade to the water system.
