Get Wildfire Prepared & Enter to Win!
Updated: 3 days ago
Wildfire season is here and emergency preparedness is on our minds. We encourage residents to get Wildfire Prepared by making grab-and-go bags for each member of your household and keeping your gas tank at least half full. Be sure to pack everything you'll need if you have to evacuate, and be sure to store them in an accessible location so they can be grabbed quickly. Learn more about emergency preparedness and find helpful links on our Emergency Preparedness page.
Don't let your gas go below half
Now that your grab-and-go bags are ready, we’ve got another tip to get you Wildfire Ready. Ensure your vehicle has fuel. The tank should always be at least half full in case you need to evacuate on short notice. Don’t count on having time to fill up on your way out of town.
Is your GRAB-AND-GO bag ready to go?
Emergency preparedness can feel daunting but this task is easier than you think. Putting together a Grab-and-Go bag is a quick and simple step that will help you be more resilient in an emergency. Everyone in your household should have a bag, including the dog!
