Bulkley Valley Artisan Tour
August 11 from 4:00 pm - 8:30 pm
August 12 from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
​Each summer, artisans of the Bulkley Valley invite you to visit their studios in and around Telkwa and Smithers. View pottery, paintings, glass art, baskets, wooden toys and more. This free, self-guided studio tour is organized in part by Tourism Smithers.

Labour Day Weekend
This annual event takes place over September long weekend and has been a Telkwa tradition for over 100 years.
Put on by the Bulkley Valley Kinsmen Club, the event features weekend long festivities including a softball tournament, beef barbecue, and other great entertainment for the whole family.

The event offers a Try-a-Tri, Sprint and Standard distance triathlon races, as well as a Duathlon and team options for the Sprint and Standard distance triathlons.
