Business Façade Improvement Program

The Village of Telkwa, in partnership with Northern Development Initiative Trust, is happy to offer the Business Facade Improvement Program for existing or new businesses, as well as non-profits, to make improvements to their building's exterior.
​
The Village of Telkwa will provide a 50% reimbursement grant up to the maximum of $5,000 per building/project to improve the façades of business in Telkwa’s downtown.

National Emergency Safety Services received funding from the Business Façade Improvement Grant in 2021 to improve their entranceway.
The Treehouse Housing Society received funding to improve the entrance to the daycare facility.
The Telkwa Museum received funding to update the entrance to the St. Stephens Church.
