Proposed Community Vision

"Telkwa remains a small friendly community united by heritage, arts and recreation. Affordable housing continues to make Telkwa a great place to raise a family and age in place.  People are connected by two rivers, community spirit, and cycling and walking pathways.  Telkwa continues to nurture local commerce and greet visitors with unique amenities and services."

Our Why?

The Village of Telkwa’s OCP was last updated in 2011. The new OCP will align with the existing Village plans, strategies and housing priorities. Community engagement is an important part of this process. Over the next year, the Village will meet with the community to create a plan that aligns with the community vision.
