May 6, 2026 at 1400 hours A Hazard Notice has been issued by Witset First Nation, Town of Smithers, Village of Telkwa, District of Houston, and the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako (RDBN) effective May 6, 2026 at 1400 hours due to the Flood Watch on the Bulkley River and surrounding tributaries. Hankin Avenue Paved Path Project
The Village of Telkwa is pleased to announce the upcoming Hankin Avenue Paved Path Adjacent to School project, aimed at improving pedestrian safety and accessibility in the area. Construction will take place from April 27 to June 5, with crews working Monday to Friday between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
