The Village of Telkwa is seeking input from residents regarding future road connectivity within the Woodland neighbourhood. Currently, Woodland Street is the only vehicular access route for properties in the neighbourhood. Staff have identified that Cedar Street appears to have been dedicated as a road, but portions of the roadway are currently fenced and not accessible. Project Includes: Removal of vegetation and associated root systems along approximately 590 metres of dike. The work includes tree cutting, stump and root extraction, site cleanup, and restoration of disturbed areas as required. Monday-Friday between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

The Riverwalk Dyke is an important piece of community infrastructure, and we ask that everyone help protect it by leaving it as it is. Please do not: • Plant trees, shrubs, or other vegetation • Move, remove, or place large rocks • Dig into or disturb the ground surface • Make any other alterations to the dyke While these changes may be well-intentioned, they can impact the integrity and function of the dyke.
