Highway 16 Watermain Replacement Project

As part of the Highway 16 Watermain Replacement Project, the Village of Telkwa would like to notify residents in the Highway 16, Hudson Avenue, and Hunter Avenue areas of scheduled water service disruptions.

Service Schedule

Wednesday, July 15: Intermittent water service disruptions are expected throughout the day.

Thursday, July 16 (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.): Water service will be fully interrupted while crews complete watermain replacement work.

Village staff will be delivering notices to all affected properties prior to the scheduled work.

Residents are encouraged to store an adequate supply of water for drinking, cooking, and other essential household needs before the outage.

Water Assistance Available

Water is available for residents who require assistance during the interruption. If you need water delivered, please contact the Village of Telkwa at 250-846-5212 to arrange delivery.
